"Is the preparatory detritus of an artist fundamentally less enthralling than the christened finalized act? Or is said detritus indeed worthy of such scouring, if not for comparison then for appreciation? Perhaps clues are found within these failed drafts and aborted ruins. Yet, do said clues offer greater context to the end result? Or, do they pull back the curtain that obscures the spasming artistic brain, foaming at all hours of the night, and therefore spoil any foolhardy attempts, made by said artist, to establish a mythic aura?

Perhaps no such questions will be answered here. But you may ponder these confounding concepts as you take in the salacious pre-plannings and scheduled sketches of musical act Accent Wall. For over a decade, these (a)tonal blue-prints and internal explorations have piled up under the Wall's nose. And they have begun to smell: The oft casual demo, the rare compilation ODDity, and the sensibly scrapped soundscape. All have been thoroughly washed, tenderized, and prepped for what amounts to a debatably brief, and debatably digestible, overview of the first decade of Accent Wall's existence. Perhaps you have not heard of Accent Wall. And this begs the question: Can there be interest in the preparatory work of an artist unknown to you? Perhaps ODDS will answer this question. Perhaps not."
